KUNIS BARI · YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy policy.

Your trust matters to us. We respect your privacy and believe you should understand what information you share, why it is needed and the choices you have.

Last updated:

1. Who is responsible

Kunis Bari General Trading PLC, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, is responsible for the personal information it receives through its website inquiry service. This policy covers our website and the handling of inquiries about our products and services.

2. Information you choose to share

You can browse our website without sending an inquiry. When online inquiries become available, the relevant form may ask for your name, company name, telephone number, email address, delivery city or destination country, product sizes or flavours, and your message. Required fields help us understand and respond to your request; optional fields can be left empty.

Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information. If you provide someone else’s contact details, make sure you have permission to do so.

3. Why we use inquiry information

Once the service opens, we will use the details you submit to answer your questions, discuss availability or requirements, prepare a quotation where requested, and assist with the resulting business conversation. Sending an inquiry will not sign you up for unrelated marketing.

We will identify the applicable legal basis before collection begins. Depending on the request, this may include taking steps you ask for before entering a contract, meeting a legal obligation, or your consent where required. We will explain any new purpose before using information in a materially different way.

4. Private records and limited sharing

The planned inquiry service will send messages to private, company-managed records so the team responsible for your request can contact and assist you. Inquiry information is not intended for public display, sale or unrelated advertising.

Hosting, database or email providers may process information as needed to operate the service. We will identify the relevant service arrangements and any overseas processing before online collection begins. We may also need to disclose information where the law requires it or to protect legal rights. We will limit disclosures to what is necessary for the relevant purpose.

5. Protecting your information

Before accepting online inquiries, we will put appropriate safeguards in place: secure transmission, access limited to authorised people who need the information, protected accounts and records, and procedures for handling privacy concerns. These are requirements for the planned service, not a claim that a connected inquiry database is already operating.

No website or storage system can promise absolute security. If a personal-data incident occurs, we will assess it, take appropriate action and provide notifications where required by applicable law.

6. Keeping information only as needed

We will retain inquiry records only for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting business relationship, meet applicable record-keeping duties or resolve a dispute. We will establish the retention periods before the inquiry service opens and update this notice. Records no longer needed will be deleted or anonymised, subject to lawful retention requirements and the handling of backups.

7. Browser storage and technical information

This website remembers your chosen Home-page colour theme in your browser. It may also cache public pages, images, videos, fonts and code to help the experience load. The website does not intentionally save your form entries in that cache or in its own persistent browser storage. Your browser may separately retain entries through its autofill or session features.

The current website has no advertising trackers or analytics tools added by us. The hosting provider may process technical information such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages and timestamps to deliver, maintain and protect the website. You can clear website storage through your browser settings; doing so may reset your theme and require assets to download again.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You remain free to browse without submitting an inquiry. Subject to applicable Ethiopian law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate details, deletion, restriction of processing, or object to certain uses. Data portability may also be available. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some records may need to be kept for legal reasons; we will explain relevant limits rather than promise deletion in every case. You may also raise a data-protection complaint with the Ethiopian Communications Authority.

9. Questions and requests

During this preview, please raise privacy questions with the Kunis Bari representative you already deal with. A monitored company contact for privacy requests will be published here before online inquiries are enabled. The preview inquiry forms cannot currently deliver a privacy request.

10. Updates to this policy

We will update this page when the inquiry service opens or our handling of information changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes affecting information already provided will be communicated as required.
